Sherryn studied environmental design at Texas A&M University and the University of Colorado in Boulder. She graduated from the University of Colorado in Denver with a Masters’ degree in Architecture in 2001. Her internship architectural experience ranged from high end multi family residential to prison design. She has always enjoyed the challenge of working on a variety of projects.
In architecture to raise her 2 sons. She shifted her career to building code compliance. While Sherryn enjoyed the challenge of the design aspects of an architectural career, she found that building code compliance suited her best. Sherryn was the primary plans examiner for the University Hospital Anschutz inpatient pavilion as well as the Children’s Hospital bed tower.
Sherryn grew up in South America and speaks Spanish.
She has even worked on a project for a research station in Antarctica! Always up for a challenge, Sherryn has a keen eye and became an ICC certified building inspector and enjoys getting out in the field and seeing the building projects take shape. Sherryn enjoys working with architects and contractors and building officials and their staff.
She looks forward to providing opportunities for training and career advancement for workers who may not be taking a traditional career path or who need a flexible schedule. She also looks forward to modernizing and streamlining the building code compliance process to best meet the needs of her clients.
