Insight Building Code Consulting offers a consultation service for technically complex inspection reports, especially reports that reference items that need to be resolved in the name of “building codes”. While true safety items should be addressed, there are times when well-meaning home inspectors don’t take exceptions into consideration when issuing their reports. We offer a service where we will summarize the home inspection report and hi-light the items that are safety issues or issues that could become safety issues and offer language to correct misconceptions regarding building code items when applicable.

This service starts at $200 to evaluate up to 10 pages of an inspection report. Longer inspection reports may incur additional fees.
